Seriously, are they waiting for Macca to be dead before this happens? The Concert for George was brilliant...of course, the emotional angle of that show really made it special...but the performances were just over the top incredible. Somebody needs to organize this before it's too late. 50 songs with Macca playing with 50 other huge acts. and no...paul doesnt get to do Hey Jude at the end. wink'

they DO wait till an artist is dead...or dying...before someone organizes a concert for someone, don't they?

i've been thinking about this. not a paul concert neccessarily. but one of those big benefit type concerts. clapton has done so many. he seems comfortable allowing someone else take the spotlight. he has been doing them for years. but who has the musical heritage to organise one when eric stops? once mr clapton is done...is maraih carey going to do one? justin timberlake? i think these concerts are a dying breed, folks.

Well, 2/3, if your wishes are fullfilled,I think Paul would want the Everly Brothers , Little Richard and Fats Domino on the 'heritage' part of of the bill.

Contemporaries, would include Simon& Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder and ..............???
