Book-ends - you know - the 1st song, kick off the album.  The last song - ties it up and completes it.

Please nominate your entries in the Beatle/Solo category.  With enough interest, we can have a run-off and vote the best.

I'll start:

Please, Please Me -  1st- I Saw Her Standing There
                              Last - Twist and Shout

Abbey Road - 1st - Come Together
                    Last - The End (suite)

Remember Beatle AND solo Beatles eligible in this category.

for the reprise alone i would suggest both sgt pepper: 1st, sgt pepper
last, sgt pepper/a day in the life

and band on the run: 1st, band on the run
                             last, nineteen hundred and eighty-five

Excepting the cover, Dizzy Miss Lizzy on Help, that album gives us:

1st - Help

Last - Yesterday

Really, never thought  about the similarities in sentiment before, expressed seperately by John and Paul.
Remember, Help was originally composed as a folkish song.  Anyone heard it?
Perfect "Book-ends!"

Good one, Eddie, they even fit together well, thematically.
