Yeah I've seen it a few times now.. I also saw it on Letterman here on tv a couple of nights ago (I guess they're always a few shows behind in NZ). To be honest, I actually felt sorry for her, and Letterman came across as an a-hole to me. Especially when she made it clear she didn't want to talk about prison any more but he continued to make jokes; I think it made him look worse than Paris did. He was so patronising to her too, talking to her like she was a little child.

And I didn't like how he was so two-faced towards her, giving her that warm welcome, then roasting her, and then trying to appear all matey with her at the end - yet he was saying stuff like "oh you were away when we last wanted to see you".

I know a lot of people would've laughed their socks off watching that, as did I at first.. but it then felt low, cruel and slimy. I realise Paris isn't the sharpest tack in the box, and she has carved a career out of doing a series of very dumb things, but something didn't feel right about that interview. That was the night I changed my mind about Paris Hilton.

Which she is, and acts like at every occasion. Let's face it...she's a celeb because she's a tool....and she got caught being a tool and paid for it. Dave has said many time, that he's tired of hearing that last weeks quest died of some sort of overdose. It's happened many times. River Phoenix, John Candy, Chris Farley  etc etc. Each time he's said to them "please be careful" and they just get upset with him for bringing it up. I thought Christian Slater was going to punch him in the face, when Dave said "please don't be another one" Dave was right to embarrass her....no one else would. She probably laughed it off with her friends. Hey, Dave likes her, or she wouldn't be on the show as ofter as she is. She needed to be told. Good for Dave for not pussy footing around. He did the same with Lindsay Lohan...a few days before she ended up in Rehab....again. huh

Speaking of celebrities getting heated on camera, do a search on YouTube for Danny Bonaduce and Johnny Fairplay (Survivor, Fear Factor), from a couple of days ago at some reality tv awards show. Bonaduce heaves him over his shoulders and Fairplay loses his teeth!  rabid

Yeah, wasn't he busted for drugs even while he was still in The Partridge Family? He was only 14 or something like that. If you want to see him really lose his cool, go to YoTube and watch the one where he's at a conference and suddenly beats up a DJ and bites him while he has him on the ground! He's a vicious dude alright. Isn't there another one where someone comes up to him to ask him why he thinks 9/11 was no inside job and he goes beserk there too? I read on Wikipedia that he tried to commit suicide a couple of years ago. Sad stuff.
