Geez, 647 McCartney posts and only 160 Lennon posts.  Do you think that reflects the general consensus among Beatles fans?

Wow.  Didn't notice that.
Maybe many of them are about his tours and current endeavors.  Awfully lopsided though.

I had noticed that....I think it has something to do with Paul's lengthy career. Add to that Macca's tendency to write songs in a variety of styles that are appealing across generational boundries. Lennon's post Beatles output was uneven in quality without the other Lads to keep him on point. Think about this fact: If you are 28 years old or younger, John Lennon has always been dead...sad but true.

Agree with Mervap, also Paul's artistic resurgence, touring, TV appearances, Album releases and tabloid marriage the past few years  generated a lot of buzz, including here.  Also, those that may not know, many "founding members" here were first aquainted at one of the Paul Fan sites.

I see the Beatles as a team - the sum greater than the parts.

It is kind of odd that a couple of recent Lennon Movies came out recently, and we pretty much ignored them.

Lennon Naked was pretty good...and so was Nowhere Boy. ANybody else see them?

I noticed it too. I think it's a combination of Paul having the longest career which still continues today, combined with John's solo output not being as consistently good as Paul's Wings era. I think even George had better material at the same time in John's solo career.
