This is the first time I've heard about this possibility. Living one state away I can defnintely say this is one festival I would never go to regardless of who is headlining. I've heard too many horror stories. Supposedly it's just a big drunk fest with a few other things thrown in. I'm way too much of a music fan to spend that much money and not remember anything. What I like about Coachella is that all of the people there are serious about the music. Plus it takes place on a polo field near Palm Springs.
I will give the organizers this - they are great marketers.They always tease their line-up and score some pretty big names - The Police, Springsteen, etc.
