John might have pointed out that Jesus didn't know what a library was either.

Good one, Roger!

Mervap, that's my feeling, as well.

BUT - Of course Mike's place is in full firestorm, crisis mode.  I think their being serious in their mind, but to me, it's some of the funniest stuff I've read recently.

I can't believe so many so-called Macca fans can think (?) like that.

I say it's a vast right-wing conspiracy to populate any board - be it music, sports - of course politics - and then given the tiniest opportunity - fire up the echo chamber of bullsh*t.

"The way things are going, they're going to crucify me."  (But, old, thumbs aloft, uncle Paulie?!?!?!)  Like,  w0w.

Ha!  Yes...the Onion has become reality.  Maybe Boehner could apologize to lots of people for something worse than the joke Paul made.

In June 1995, Boehner provoked contentions of unethical conduct when he distributed campaign contributions from tobacco industry lobbyists on the House floor as House members were weighing how to vote on tobacco subsidies.

On September 18, 2008, Congressman Boehner attended a closed meeting with congressional leaders, was urged to craft legislation to help financially troubled banks. That same day Congressman Boehner cashed out of an equity mutual fund. Further, he lied about not acting on the information, insisting his broker acted alone.

Must be nice to be correct all the time! (was going to say "right", but that's redundant)

To have such a narrow view of the world and not realize that GWB really wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed is truly amazing.

Jon Stewart put together a bunch of clips of Fox News-type commentators talking about Obama's troubles, and referring to them as Obama's Katrina, Afghanistan, etc. Basically using Bush's less-than-stellar decisions as examples of how badly Obama's doing. Perhaps a little perspective is in order here?

Didn't every late night talk show host use that same joke when they were building the Clinton Library?  I guess I can understand that some people are upset about the joke...well...not the joke...but the place it was told. I never could understand why our elected officials are put on such a high pedestal.....we elect them to do a job.  Too bad when they suck at it, we can't fire them for 4 years. Unless of course you have compromising photos of the person in bed with a goat.  crazy
