I feel a bit confused why Paul doesnt seem to like the idea of bonus tracks on Beatle CDs, but would rather put those tracks on a "Past Masters", but when it comes to his solo catalouge, he doesnt seem to mind, seems to be the same thing with the other Beatles, but more noticeable with Paul. If Paul was to totally remaster his solo catalouge like they did with the Beatles' catalouge, would yall have want it done that same way as the Beatles catalouge was done...no bonus tracks on his solo albums and there would be like a "Wings' Past Masters" or something starting with "Another Day" onward? With all the non-album singles he put out, there would at least be 3 volumes.
I just feel if they're gonna do their Beatles' stuff that way, they should also do the same for the solo albums, or vice verca.

Perhaps the decision to include bonus tracks on the solo Macca cds wasn't ultimately Paul's?

I personally think they made a mess of the tracklistings of each solo album. Chronologically, they included tracks that don't make sense. For example, Lunch Box / Odd Sox was the B-side on the 1980 'Coming Up' single, therefore it makes sense to include it as a bonus track on 'McCartney II' - yet it turns up on 1975's 'Venus and Mars'!!!! What on earth!!?!?!

And you have 'Goodnight Tonight', which should've been a bonus track on 'Back To The Egg', yet it appears on 'McCartney II'!!! Even crazier, the B-side 'Daytime Nighttime Suffering' appears on 'Back To The Egg', yet its A-side 'Goodnight Tonight' isn't!?!?! What kind of weird logic is going on here? It doesn't seem very well thought-out at all.

So if they were going to employ the same set of Mr Magoos to arrange bonus tracks on Beatles cds I think I would rather just stick to Past Masters thanks. They'd be bound to do something stupid like stick 'Day Tripper' on Revolver or something.

Excellent points, KyleNZ; I didn't learn or experience much from those formats, especially in making any cohesion from Paulie's zig-zag career.

Technicly "Day Tripper" and "We Can Work It Out" would be on Rubber Soul. "Paperback Writer" and "Rain" would be on Revolver.

And "Penny Lane" & "Strawberry Fields Forever" would be on "Pepper"...

Then what would happen to "Magical Mystery Tour"? Mix those songs up with the four exclusive "Yellow Submarine" tracks. And i just can't Imagine "Hey Jude" on the White Album.
