Hello everyone, I've just joined the Forum!

Just this second!

BLIMEY.

I'm 49, I got into the Fabs back in 1964 when my elder sister had some of the
45's, then more so when a neighbour gave us (me and my twin brother) an
old Dansette record player and a big pile of singles, amongst which were about five Fabs classics.

Then much later we properly got into the albums (this was around 1973), at the same time buying every
current solo-Beatles album and singles.

My favourite member has to be the jaw-droppingly gifted Paul.

Wings, I think, were simply astounding.

My favourite Beatles albums are the White Album, Revolver and Abbey Road.

I've been involved in the music business as a band manager, sound engineer,
graphic designer and radio presenter.

I've been working as a director/actor with a drama group here in Sussex, in the UK.

I've just written my first two novels, psychological thrillers, which I'm trying to get published.

I have eight blogs, seven of which are mp3 blogs.

They are at:

http://guitarinstrumentals4u.blogspot.com/
http://postpunkpowerpop.blogspot.com/
http://www.rareandelusive.blogspot.com/
http://theaudioemporium.blogspot.com/
http://freefiction4u.blogspot.com/
and finally:
http://theworldupstairs.blogspot.com/

It's great to be here - and thanks for telling me about it, Merv.

PS Hey everyone,

There's a track on one of the Anthology CD's that was taken from
an unofficial source and is subsequently bad quality.

I have a stunning MASTER-TAPE
quality copy on my blog here:

http://mrobscure.blogspot.com/

and some other rare Fabs' stuff here:

http://rareandelusive.blogspot.com/

The one on mr. obscure is there for
ONE MONTH ONLY,
so grab it while you can!

Welcome aboard Stewy! I can't say I'm in agreement regarding your assessment of Paul's 80s output, but it's so great that a guy like Macca can spark so many differing opinions among fans! Looking forward to your posts.  bunny
