Man I hope this hasn't been covered.

Here are some of my Greatest Guitar Solos in Beatle History:

John's ridiculous cacophony in You Can't Do That and Yer Blues.

George's in I'll Follow the Sun and And I Love Her.  You think, after listening to those two, that the man felt he needed to show off how technically good he was or how many notes-per-second he could play?  No.  He thought of what sounded good.

Paul's solo on Fixing a Hole.  He did play that didn't he?

Mine is without a doubt, Paul McCartney's sizzlng solo on Good Morning Good Morning (Sgt. Pepper album). Macca also played the solo on George's 'Taxman', I believe. Very underrated lead guitarist to this day, our Macca!

All of those mentioned here are superb, but the solo that immediately popped into my head when I read the topic was the epic sunburst of a solo on "Nowhere Man"....so good and so appropriate, right thru the final pluck on the wrong side of the bridge! Er, of course, GH could just have been coaxing a nice harmonic, but I have a vision of him doing the "wrong" thing. :)
