Since discussions of Paul making a grand pop-rock bomb of an album that hits on all pistons has has discussed, I have tried to first decide if he can do it based on his recordings since Wings broke up.

Omitting Tug Of War, because it is a very good cohesive album, I've looked  at his albums and have picked songs that have the pace, quality and musical ear candy that would comprise that next great album.
I have filled 2 old-fashioned vinyl discs, about 36 minutes each, spread out over on one CD of 72 minutes and 21 songs.
These songs are done and history, I am proposing he record 21 songs that have the same impact as these and assemble them on one blockbuster CD .  Again, these were picked as representations songs/performances of what I think  would propel Macca to his rightful place atop the music world. These are proof he can do it.
This proposed album is NOT a greatest hits CD, it  is not thematic one, nor is it to strive for rock-ballad balance,  or one to ponder/think as a literary work -  it's simply to rock.

Here it is , listening to it, it really hangs well, let me know what you think of it - and even better - propose your own!

1.Coming Up (Studio version)

2.Whole Life (What a truly great song this charity recording is!)

3.My Brave Face (Sounds even better now than when it was released).

4. The World Tonight (Layers of rock, shimmering)

5.Ever Present Past (From MAF, maybe he'll finally play it live)

6.Summer of 59 (Chaos B-side that is a nice crisp, musical confection)

7. Comfort of Love (Great rocker from the Chaos sessions)

8. Lonely Road (Passion, feeling personified)

9.Only Mama Knows (Serrated-knife guitar riffs and all)

10. About You (Most under-rated rocker)

11.Flaming Pie (Cooks! Sweet)

12. Fine Line (Sublime rock)

13. I Do (Sugar pop)

14.Back In the Sunshine Again (Passion from Driving Rain)

15. Sun Is Shining (Favorite from Electric Arguments)

16.Feel the Sun (Long version) - From Cold Cuts

17. See Your Sunshine (Gorgeous song from MAF)

18.Friends To Go (Chaos song with George as ghost)

19. Tiny Bubble (Bubbling pop)

20. Feet In the Clouds (Grower from MAF)

21.Dance Till We're High ( Anthemic rock from Electric Argument)

He really can do it - and this is proof.

That's a pretty good list PW. Don't forget to upload them for us so we can download it. wink

Also....sorry I just noticed this post....not sure why the "view most recent posts" button leaves stuff out sometimes. I think I miss a lot using that method of checking new postings.
