..would he still been alive? Everyimetime i hear the MDC story, it just seems to me he was waiting for him to make that comeback. He kept track of Lennon, knew he was taking a break from making music, but as soon as MDC found out Lennon was planning a comeback, he was gunning for him. It just seems to me if Lennon would just have waited a little bit longer...

Or the real question i should ask is would yall have done without a "Double Fantasy", if you knew it would eventualy save John's life?

I think I would trade his entire solo output for that.....

This was one of the reason's why i never bought "Double Fantesy" because i knew that was an album the eventualy led to his death. I'm thinking about getting that new version stripped down because i do like the songs even though i found them a tad unsettling, knowing the history. When i think about buying that "Double Fantesy- Stripped", a little voice inside my head says, "was that album worth his death?" I know its stupid and maybe downright morbid. But these were the issues i always had with "Double Fantesy" and "Milk & Honey." A big part of really loves those songs like "Watching The Wheels", "Starting Over" and "Nobody Told Me", but i just can not escape the tragic disturbing history behind it.

I just remember the joy JL expressed at being back, doing what he did best....

The cheeseball that killed him stole a great musician and songwriter, and a father and husband. Don't let him steal your enjoyment of "DF" and M&H"...
