I know "Ram" is listed as "Paul & Linda McCartney" but when compared to John & Yoko's "Double Fantesy" and "Milk & Honey", that was more of a joint effort. How John & Yoko alternated songs on the album(s). I often wonder why Paul & Linda never did that, and Linda even had some songs like "Seaside Woman" and "The Light Within". If Paul couldve done it the "Double Fantesy" way, he couldve had a pretty good album. Linda really doasnt have a bad voice.

Now imagine that as track 2 after...let's say.."Band On The Run" of a "Double Fantesy" type album.

The biggest problem with Double Fantasy is that Yoko has half the songs on it.  I just wish that Yoko and Linda would have just put their foot down and said, no...you do your album and stayed away from the studio.

Like Olivia? I wonder if George ever invited her to help make an album with him, and Olivia said "No."

I don´t have a problem with Linda helping Paul on albums. More Yoko on Johns albums

i watched a documentary on how linda began performing with paul. it was more of a were together, youre bored, heres a tambourine. and it grew from there. i dont think linda ever claimed to be a musician,  most of it was tongue in cheek: "we're just having fun here".

with yoko, and mind you i have watched no documentaries about how she began her performing "with" john, i see it as, since whe was always sort of a performance artist, she wanted to perform. and she always wanted to be on the edge of the line and she got the platform to do so.

do i sound biased?
