greg, i can't tell. his voice clearly doesn't have the range it once did (although it is still sounding great for his age)...so he could be songing in a lower register (john's part)

but holy meatballs, batman...very nice clip.

While Paul is definitely singing John's part on the verse, it sounds, to these ears, as if he is switching back to his original part on the high end.

Yep he is singing John's part on the verse, because, well John does the lead vocal on that part!! And he switches to his original part on the high end as Pat says.

I have absolutely no problem with his range or vocals on this song - still brilliant! And good on him for tackling songs with John's parts!

I wanted the other guys to wear the coats from the rooftop or the guy on the right to wear lime-green pants.  That song is one of my favorite Beatle songs (along with And Your Bird Can Sing).  That recording of 909 on Let It Be is so good.
