This guy wrote the music for some of my all time favourite movies and TV shows. Remember when they used to write film scores instead of playing top 40 music in the background of movies? I miss those days...grrr.

Out Of Africa? Dances With Wolves???

Without Barry....i don't know...the landscape of Africa and the Midwest just would not have been the same in those two favorite favorite favorite movies of mine..Out of Africa being, YES!!, THE favorite movie of mine of all time (not a light title to be beheld ;) )

And James Bond? He wrote alot of the music for that iconic series and worked with some of the artists that composed the title songs including Duran Duran, who's song, "A View to A Kill" was the highest grossing Bond theme ever ( I think)...

Anyway...ditto...he was truly talented and no one scores like him :(
