Ringo Starr plans homecoming gig to Liverpool, more UK shows on tour
Various sources are reporting that Ringo Starr's upcoming European tour will include six June dates in the UK, including a show in Liverpool.
The six shows: June 17, Hampton Court Palace Festival; June 18, Liverpool Empire; June 20, Birmingham Symphony Hall; June 22, Manchester Opera House; June 23, Glasgow Clyde Auditorijm and June 24, Bournemouth BIC. It will be his first show in Liverpool since remarks made about the city on a television show in 2008 caused a furor.
In addition to the shows we've already mentioned in past reports, a UK ticket site is listing an unconfirmed show at Auditorium Parco della Musica - Auditorium Cavea in Rome on July 4.
