Quite an unusual cover version of Macca's "Live and Let Die"...

One of my favourite songs, (likely) never performed live. These guys are really amazing, even recreating the backwards bit at the end!

That's great on the Raspberries, really like the others posted, as well.
Check this great rare acoustic version of Lawyers, Guns and Money by Zevon!

Here's a glimpse WAY into Merv's past...this album was kinda the soundtrack to a whole summer. It took me until 1985 to go thru a pseudo-punk phase and this was what took me there. The album was by a local band called The Coolies and was titled "Dig?". It consisted of twisted covers of Simon & Garfunkel tunes....this is the lead track, "Scarborough Fair".

A response to Merv's post about the Beach Boys cop.
http://youtu.be/syTKDBMfSG8 Liked your choice, 2! How many takes do you think they had to do of this?

That's a very different version of Scarborough Fair there! I liked it. Needs more cowbell there, Will!
Here is a song from a soon-to-be-released album from a New Zealander by the name of Kimbra - this is a live-in-the-studio verdion of 'Settle Down' -
Very different from the studio version (both are great)
Dunno if you guys will like it, but it has a nice jazzy feel and the way she layers her vocals on a live loop is very cool!

Nice cover of a Who classic.....and a feast for drummers, large and small. The singer is Tracy Bonham, btw.
