Paul McCartney to reissue McCartney & McCartney II
Last Fall, Sir Paul McCartney reissued the Wings classic Band on the Run to critical acclaim. Now, the former Beatle will open his vault once more, this time for the re-release of two solo albums: McCartney and McCartney II. Special and deluxe configurations of both reissues will be available June 14th via MPL and the Concord Music Group.

I saw something horrable! Someone please study the pics and respond! I took a close zoomed look at the CDs and...it looks like they're gonna split the original albums on 2 CDs with the bonus tracks. Like Disc 1 will have Side 1 of the album with bonus tracks and Disc 2 will have Side 2 of the album with bonus tracks.
U N E X C E P T A B L E ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !  cutevil cutevil cutevil
They need to STOP being so "artsey" with thier remasters!!!!
Look at the scans, see for yourself!

No, that's not right.

All 3 editions all have the original album tracklisting on Disc 1. Then it's up to you if you want the standard, special or deluxe edition. I've already got the bonus tracks on bootleg so will probably just be the standard edition for me. Then again, the original cd sounded pretty good to me anyway. Maybe lacks a bit of bass and some mids, but I've always thought that's the 'sterility' of a cd compared to vinyl.

Still undecided whether I get them, like you I'm a bit jaded by all these remasters. Is it a ploy to get all us Beatle fans to keep rebuying our collections over and over again?

Well, the pictures i saw on Amazon scared the crap out of me. I was looking at the "McCartney 2" disc and...just zoom in on the pic, you'll see what i mean.

Maybe it's just how they designed the CD label of "McCartney 2", odd though.
