Nearly nine years separated this version of "Silly Love Songs" from the one on Broad Street...the latter was produced by George Martin and featured Louis Johnson on bass, Steve Lukather on guitar and Jeff Porcaro on drums. Of course, you probably knew all that, Kyle....Louis Johnson was a fave session guy of Michael Jackson, too, and played on a lot of the tunes on "Thriller". Funkiness indeed!

Yes, the inside lyric sheet of Broad Street is a sight to behold, seeing that glittering array of stars on each track.. I remember my eyes lighting up when I first saw Ringo's name pop up on a few of the tracks all those years ago!
