Often our standard for for judging solo beatle works is 2-fold.  One is - against the full field of competitors - how does this solo Beatle song/CD stack up?

MORE importantly,to me, is this solo Beatle music of BEATLE QUALITY?  Could it make the cut from the other three Beatles and be included on one of their proper Beatle albums?

The Beatles did this with each other when they dealt their songs to the others.
So let's play Beatle critic - the toughest - against the field of Beatle solo works.

Simple:  Nominate any solo Beatle song you think of now, or think or hear later that you feel meets this criteria:

1.The recording is 90%+ ready - Beatle quality- it may or may not need a 10& or less Beatle touch-up to be included on a Beatle album.

I'll start with these four:

George: All Things Must Pass

Ringo: Photograph

John:I Know, I Know

Paul:Too Many People

Please Add to the list! crazy

Well I gues the obvious choices are Maybe I'm Amazed, Imagine , and My Sweet Lord....but....I think maybe George had the most George Beatle Quality song over his solo career.

Paul did very well with his acoustic dittys...Calico Skys, Put it there, etc...all good enough for the White Album, or even Rubber Soul.

Nobody Told Me would have been a great Beatle tune

Ringo, well....It Don't Come Easy ;)

If we're picking from the Lads' entire solo careers, I'd pick these:

Ringo- Weight of the World

George- Beware of Darkness

John- I'm Losing You

Paul- Uncle Albert/ Admiral Halsey

to speak in terms of generics...just about anything off george's all things must pass epic album is of beatle quality i think. and i think he has moments of true greatness on cloud nine as well.

john's entire plastic ono band disk is a masterpiece in its gloomy, intense simplicity. and the song imagine is a timeless classic. as well as (song) mind games. honorable mention would have to go to all of john's offerings from double fantasy. i still get goosebumps when i hear woman, watching the wheels, and starting over

paul's ram album is probably the most beatle like of all solo albums. and band on the run is obviously high end stuff. since paul has so much of a bigger catalog of songs to choose from, he has also missed the mark more than the others. but he still hits one out of the ballpark now and then. at the mercy and how kind of you (chaos) are modern day 5 star songs...if only they will ever be appreciated as being so. the medley on memory almost full is a wonderful listen as well.

ringo has had is pure pop moments too (although the bar is sadly not set so high for him) it don't come easy...photograph...and even the no no song has that certain ringo charm that would have been a nice break between lennon's sarcastic wit and mccartney's sweet pop sensibility.
