SNAP POLL:  Would you watch/and or purchase a Wings/Solo song Concert by Paul McCartney?
Situation, Paul does a HBO cable special concert, consisting of 35 solo/Wings songs, never performed in a concert previously available on an official CD release.

It is performed in an acoustically perfect, classic concert hall before a crowd of adoring, knowledgeable Paul fans.
Think of the set-list!

Within a week later, I-Tunes, has the entire concert on-line to download, 99 cents a song or $25.00 for the entire 35 songs.

Question:Should Paul seriously consider and do this - especially with the limitations on his tour options now and the advantages this format would bring both Paul and the fans?

A. Yes
B. No
C. Maybe, BUT do it this way.............

Please vote! crazy

I would....absolutely! I'd go a step further and offer a CD/DVD package of the ENTIRE thing, no "deluxe editions, now sudden extras three months later.....have a DVD option that could make it possible to view the show from any of the camera's vantage points....if you wanna watch Abe for the entire show and see how he does what he does, fine. Same thing for each camera....and allow the viewer to "toggle" back and forth between all of them....Be the Director!

C - free streaming of the audio and video, with the option to purchase the dvd and audio later on, via iTunes or wherever. The recording industry have failed to realise that to sell things online, you have to be prepared to give it away as well.

A.  In a heartbeat!

I would welcome a concert sans Beatles tunes.  As much as I love those tunes, too, McCartney's post-Beatles work can stand on its own.  It would be a masterpieice.
