I feel a bit karmically responsible for this....some of you may know that my old ipod classic died a grisly death over a year ago. I accidentally frisbeed it right out my open car door, not realizing the cord had become wrapped around my leg. LC said I could have her old 60g ipod to replace it, but we couldn't find it....been looking ever since until yesterday. She found it and I was loading up all the music I've had to leave at home when the news of Mr. Jobs' death came over the wire. Ok.......I don't really feel in any way responsible, but it is rather ironic.

Steve Jobs was like the Beatles of tech. Everything he came up with, was just better than everyone else. Everybody knew it too. Just like you couldn't wait for a new Beatle album....you couldn't wait to see what new product Mr Jobs came up with.

RIP

even tho i am a microsoft girl, steve jobs made microsoft better by fostering the spirit of competition and innovation. He was super smart...I strive to be 1/10th of 1% as smart as Mr Jobs...

know what? i'm sorta sad about this. don't know why exactly. i have never even owned an ipod. i just feel like we (you know, us...the world...the royal we) lost someone really important. like ben franklin or thomas edison. the world has changed a lot in the last 20 or 30 years. and mr jobs was a huge reason for that.

sigh...

and miss lampie, i'm going to go on the record and say that steve jobs probably wished he was 1/10th of 1% as pretty as you are.
