If John had lived, thrived in his musical re-birth, would he have remained in NYC?  Stayed, but travelled more?
Moved back to England?  Other part of the US?

I suspect the rejuvination of his career would have led him to a very similar itinerary as Paul, based in England, kept the 'pad' in NYC, traveled for pleasure and music and spend considerable time in some of America's cities and rural areas where rock and roll was born.

Your opinion on Where In the World Would John Have Been? : angel

Without sounding ghoulish, I feel that the only way JL would have left NYC would be if he had still been shot and lived to write about it...he made mention of his love for the place in many, many interviews. The wild card in this whole question is, as ever, Yoko...she DOES still live there, even after her husband was murdered. Unless Yoko wanted to move elsewhere, I can't see JL moving anywhere.

yep...i think he would have stayed in New York City. It was his adopted birthplace kind of. He felt at home and had (most) of his family around and that is all it takes to grow roots.

Has anyone been to the Strawberry Fields memorial in Central Park?  Or spoke with someone who has?
My impression is, it's kept up with flowers and often lit candles.  Any info on this?  Very tragic time in history. sad

I've been there.  I had been walking around NYC one day and ended my day at the memorial.  It was a very peaceful place in the middle of all of the hustle and bustle.  Maybe I was just tuning out the rest of the city and focusing on John.  Regardless it's a great memorial for a great man.
