Same idea as the dinner question, (See below)- but now the dinner has wound down and Macca says:  "As part of this arrangement.....YOU............ were to choose a guest for us to go meet at a comfortable watering hole of my choice.  Did you do that?  "

"Yeah, Macca, I'm all over it....... I just called the limo, the guest will meet us out on the side-walk, we'll climb in, you direct them.  Now Paul, you have to say good-night to the dinner guest."

WHO DID YOU INVITE?!?!?

WHY?!?!?!?          beer bigbeer

I gotta admit, it was tough trying to select a dinner party guest....it's even tougher to pick somebody different for the after dinner nightcap. Do I pick some chick that would be really nice to be seen with knowing that's all that I'll be doing with the dashing Macca present or do I pick somebody of more substance. Maybe just some random person just out of the blue....I got it!

For now, Step out on the side-walk, the limo pulls up, greeting us for our pub visit and spirits is:KEITH RICHARDS! bigbeer

Wow, this could be a long night!  toocrazy A
"boys night out."  (But the rules allow women to join us for drinks,  so we should do OK.) crazy

Great choice, but I was counting Keef amongst Macca's friends...and the rules say that isn't allowed. Maybe they aren't buddies....then let the fun begin!! bigbeer

i've seen this thread for a while. and i was unable to come up with an answer i deemed worthy. until now.

are we going to talk about politics? global warmimg? the state of the middle east? price of oil? practicality of hybrid cars? whether or not ketchup should be applied to a hot dog (even a veggie one...and the answer is a resounding no) or whether a guiness beer should be had chilled or not...

no, our conversation...if i had anything to do with it... would be about music. what could i learn by listening to this guy go on about music? and who would he have a bond with?...maybe even a history with?...that he may fascinate with stories of old, pulled from his memories?

the answer...is ringo starr.

but david gilmore would work well too. so would denny laine. elvis costello would be good.

i'm going to learn something that rolling stone magazine cannot tell me. and i am going to hear it from the source.

........OK, we got the start of a rumor, .......

"Ms. Lampie in commenting on her time with McCartney at the bar said:"Kiss......"  Then she stated there was something to: "Tell AND......?!?!?!"   DEVELOPING!........

Stay tuned to this entertainment page for more romance news on McCartney and his US born flame in Florida! and on all the sta*rs!   spank

Kiss and tell?  Yes, it's in the contract you signed in accepting your prize time with Macca.  You know the "fine print."

More and More, PW, I think you are a paperback writer, with say a Fabio-esque figure on the cover with a scantily clad beauty???

How about this...I can tell you what I would want to happen and you can embellish to your hearts content...and I will tune in to read it just like everyone else and say to myself: I did that????    ....cooooool....
