New book will list over 40 years of Paul McCartney recording sessions

Italian journalist Luca Perasi will publish a new book detailing Paul McCartney's recording sessions from the late '60s to the present early next year. The book, titled "Paul McCartney: Recording Sessions (1969-2011)," will initially be published in Italian in January. An English version is due sometime around February, Perasi says. "Over 13 years in making and over 300 pages, I did a lot of researches and interviewed over 30 musicians to cover all Paul McCartney's solo career, song by song, with 'Who played what' section for each track and recording dates and studios," he told us.
