I echo the first sentiments....a Happy Holiday Season for everyone, whether that means Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Saturnalia, Happy Kwanzaa or any holiday you chose to celebrate....or not celebrate! :)

jk....true, no matter who you are or what you believe, it seems with the days off families get together more at this time of year. So, here's hoping everyone has a good time with family and friends and that we all remain grateful for each moment.

Hasn't been a very nice Christmas for the people of Christchurch, New Zealand, they've just had a couple of very strong shakes that were felt up and down the country (heck.. my big 59" tv and computer monitor were shaking like crazy!).

Best wishes to everyone here for the holiday season. I'm going to listen to a lot of early Beatles albums over the Xmas break.

Really sorry to hear this, I had started to think that things were settling down in Christchurch, i understand there were a lot of shocks through the night. Not good for Christmas.

Yes that's right, the shocks have been continuing through the night. We had a 5, and a 4 mag, to go with the 6 and the 5.8 we had yesterday. This is a good website that keeps track of all the quakes in the Christchurch region as they happen http://www.canterburyquakelive.co.nz/

Merry Christmas to you Borris, have a good one!  beer
