I started watching Homeland because I love Damian Lewis (Band of Brothers). you know the british red head that does a FLAWLESS american accent (although i prefer the british)...Now, Terrorism and all that is touchy to me. I have kind of lived both sides. I walked around with an arabic last name for a while and I gotta tell you, most of the time the persecution is unwarranted. but this show delves into the possibility that an American POW (Played by Lewis) has been turned. Claire Danes (who incidentally just won best actress in a television series golden globe for homeland), is the Homeland Security officer that is initially charged with investigation that gets wound and wound and wound around.

I watched this show all season and thought they were going to end it like a mini-series, but no...it is actually a television series, who knew?? It did win Best Television Series golden globe as well as if my recommendation isnt good enough. If you can get re-runs on showtime/look it up on hulu/netflix you should. Its super writing, deft and powerful acting and I literally was pacing my room at one point unable to sit down the tension was so high...seriously..watch it :D

Let me know what you think :D
