i loved it ... and i generally don't enjoy musicals much. i think its a movie that is difficult to describe and just has to be seen and experienced.

I had a VERY, VERY BIG fight about this film over at another Beatles site (dmbeatles) a few months ago so I wont drag that argument in here...I'll keep mouth zipped on this subject..lol

i didnt want to see it...i was dragged kicking and screaming by two people whm i will refer to loosely as "friends"...you know who you are....but I have to say, i ended up enjoying it and went back to see it again.

The arrangements are pretty true, and the singing isnt bad either...the plot however is kind of a mash up and i rolled my eyes a couple times, but i do that a lot anyway, ha ha...

I thought it was good...i'll buy it on DVD...

It is a VERY good movie I think. Nicely put together and touches on some good issues. OH and The Beatles songs were in it so there's like 10 reasons right there!

I watched this on blu ray last year and was impressed. I liked the scene of the cheerleaders and downtempo version of I Want To Hold Your Hand - and the clip of Bono doing I Am The Walrus - trippy stuff. And the way Joe Cocker appears in different guises from out of nowhere throughout - considering he's already done so many great interpretations of Beatles songs it is fitting to see him in multiple roles here :)
