Things That Make You Go Hmmmmmm.....

I was talking with my sister the other day...she is a big fan of "The Wizard of Oz". I told her I had a question for her and I hoped she could help.

   "Ok, Dorothy accidentally killed the Wicked Witch of the West with a pail of water, right? If that is to be held as fact, how did she bathe? Even if she didn't bathe, she had to sweat under all those clothes...would that be suicide? What did she drink?"

   She just rolled her eyes and walked off.....what did I say?


   Am I the only person that thinks of nutty stuff like that? I think not!

It reminds me of a question I've always had. Always been a big fan of "Winnie the Pooh", and you know there is this chapter where Tigger arrives at the forest and doesn't know what he likes to eat... I once asked - "hey, wait a minute, why didn't anyone just ask him what he ate yesterday"...
Seriously though, these things are symbolic, they don't really have to make sense...

It's only when I watch soap operas that I feel they actually insult my intelligence - you know, when some people grow and change and others remain the same age, or when this girl is suddenly older than her cousin, even though she was born several years after him... (and I still watch them...).

computers. Is there a more unstable peice of equipment out there? Cars. How come we have to pay huge bucks for these things, and when the break...it's a one dollar part...but costs $999 to get at it to replace it?

In order for a coputer to work properly, you have to have Windows, and we all know that windows come with a ledge: Know-ledge! That's how they get you....they have the know that puts you on the ledge!
