Savoy Truffle;

WoopS!  Looks like my usual over-the-top humor has gotten too subtle!

I was referring to the recent Liverpool song-set-list Paul played and since it included "Something" I included it into the vote.  Whew, Paul doesn't have my e-mail address or I'm sure he would have.............. laughing

For me While My Guitar Gently Weeps is the best George Harrison song in the Beatles.

I wish Paul would stop playing that dreadful ukelele version of Something in concert. He should play the full-blown version with his band, I think his voice would really suit the song as much as it did George.

Something must be George's most influential song. It's The Beatles' second most-covered song next to Yesterday and all the greats have tackled it (Elvis Presley, Shirley Bassey, Frank Sinatra, James Brown, Julio Iglesias, Smokey Robinson, Joe Cocker), without resorting to murder-by-ukeleles!

One Beatle song of George's that i think is underappreciated but maybe subconsciously influincial is "It's All Too Much".
