I heard this one the other day.....always liked it a lot. Tracey Ullman covers the late, great Kirsty MacColl. Plus a cameo by our buddy Macca near the end!
Yeah me too, always liked this. I bought Kirsy's 'Kite' album back in 1989, it was such a beautiful record. I adored her cover of The Kinks' 'Days', the video got played a lot on tv here at the time. I've just found it on YouTube, haven't seen it for years!

The word on the street is....this young woman is the next big thing out of the UK. Great cover of Lindsey Buckingham's/Fleetwood Mac tune

Oh brilliant. I want to see that performed live so badly...on a stage. I don't like the rhythm track however. I'd a skipped that or used hand claps. Totally detracted from that great performance for me.

Totally agree. The vocals are top notch - stunning, stunning rendition. The backing track however, totally ruins the thing. Turns it into a Bobby McFerrin 'Don't Worry Be Happy' kind of affair. If they had kept those vocals and laid it onto say an Aimee Mann/Michael Penn-style backing track of proper instruments, it could be like the best version ever! I've always liked Sandy Farina's version (produced by George Martin):
