OK guys, let me tell you something about Paul McCartney you didn't know... the man is a natural born Hebrew speaker

. I swear, if I didn't know better I'd think he was a native here...but let's start from the beginning. We arrived about four hours before the show started and, like I knew it would be, it was quite a nightmare standing there in the crowd waiting... it was so crowded you could hardly move. I knew it would be, it's just that I'm not used to it - don't go to crowded places usually. Since I'm rather short, and all the tall people stood before me, I was wondering about the place (which was nearly impossible...), trying to find a decent one, so eventually I ended up in the front row, but at the very end of it. I was standing on the barrier to get a better look and was squashed against the iron fence on one side, so it wasn't very comfortable... but once the show started it was all worth it! I just thought - "I don't care, I have to see him in person, not just on the screen". I got to see Paul from the side, you see. I just kept staring and thinking that this was the man I longed to see for 18 years... don't think I fully realized it, even until now...he turned in our direction from time to time, and once even waved and said "I see you", so he MIGHT have meant me... I was actually singing and yelling and dancing with everyone - didn't believe I would, don't do these things normally - guess nobody but Paul can make me do that...
He opened with "Hello Goodbye" and then said "Shalom Tel Aviv" and "Shana Tova" ("happy new year"), since our new year's eve is next week - the day after tomorrow, actually. Then he sang "All My Loving" and said: "Ze Me-pa'am" ("this one is from the past"). When he sang "My Love" he said - "Ha'shir Haze Mukdash Le... ("this song is devoted to...) Linda". And then added "and to all you lovers out there - make love, but not right now..."

. Oh, and he said "Toda" ("Thank you") nearly after every song... before he sang "Hey Jude" he asked - "Shiru iti" ("sing with me") and during the final chorus said "Rak Hanashim" ("only the women") "Rak Hagvarim" ("only the men") and then "Kulam" ("everybody")... guess he had it written with him somewhere, it's quite a lot to remember from a foreign language in one time, I mean what did he do, sat in the hotel and memorized it?...anyway, it was rather obvious he was particularly enjoying himself, and as for me... well, I had a perfectly marvelous time, as you can tell, I'm so thrilled I don't think I can go to sleep, but SOMEONE is going to wake me in about four or five hours at the most (it's 2.30 am)...you'll find plenty of videos at youtube, I guess, I just might appear somewhere because the photographers passed by me from time to time... if I don't look too terrible I'll let you know.
Good night for now, and thank you all for all your support and kind words, and Thank You Paul...
