Ok,ok, I'm sure all of us have seen the video and maybe read an article about this...now comes an editorial:

Ringo Starr is the main reason I decided to play drums...there I said it. Thanks for that, Mr. Starkey. Thank you for all the great music you have had a hand in creating over your long career...thank you for all the fine acting in whatever movies we've seen you in. Thank you for being the sane Beatle when nobody else was talking to each other....thank you for being a fun interview for all these years. Thank you for all these things and everything else you've done that was cool. Now please leave.

That's right...please leave before you embarass yourself further. Retire to a wonderful life built upon the sweat of your brow (and our cash) and enjoy yourself. Relax and kick back. Fan mail is very taxing, I understand, so fire that service that does that for you (and the people who sign it, too.) As a senior citizen, perhaps you should consider maybe not touring all the time (to collect our cash), as that is very strenuous for a fella your age. And while you are at it, perhaps stop making CDs that we bothersome fans buy (with our cash)...a very busy business, this recording stuff!

Mr. Starkey, what if you made music and nobody cared? I suspect you may find out shortly...

Wow! spank I think that maybe Ringo has the same problem as Paul....nobody to tell him, hey...that's a really bad idea. Personally, I wish he did this instead.....say, no more free autographs. Send me proof that you sent what ever you can to your favourite charity, and I will return the favour. He could do some good, and probably sign less than 10 % of what he has to now. Or just get a rubber stamp and hire an intern. The video was really really really really really really really really really bad publicity, and who ever is in charge, should go work for Styx instead.  wink

Of course, I COULD be way off base......I hear today that Ringo's comments were part of a larger attempt to become more "Green"....nothing wrong with that. Just was handled WAY badly....please tell us these things, man! You had me all in a tizzy!

I've been reading all the different comment sections of various "newspapers" with regards to the Ringo mess...and really....people are idiots! crazy People chiming it that the Beatles were overrated anyway, or that Ringo was a crap drummer, and that his best work was on Back In The USSR and...yeah, I know..that was Paul...but still...dang......grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! spank spank
