You know...I was thinking(yeah, bad idea)....Merv started this blog so that a group of us who used to talk over at Mikes, could discuss other topics other than the colour of Macca's socks. Mike has every right to limit the topics on his site, and it's a great site. Through a really exaggerated misunderstanding, Merv was banished from Mikes....fair enough....it probably was a bad idea to use Mikes PM's feature to let the 6 people who liked to talk about other things, know about this site. But it was never meant to be some sort of competing site....just somewhere to talk about things Mike didn't want on his site. Mike is correct by the way....those topics get WAY out of hand and turn really nasty....fast. Which is why Merv hand picked the few he invited here. So....now that a little time has passed and all hopefully is forgiven...I have just one simple question.

The other thing I want to point out, after doing some investigating.....why would somebody who was starting their own "competing" site, actually donate to the OTHER site, some time AFTER starting this one?

If I knew you all much better, I'd crack a good joke now, to answer your last question - OK I'll do it as a Joke - I am just kidding....the answer - (Mike and his followers would give): GUILT! (LOL) 

Actually, I can't agree with you about that web-site in full, obvious positives-Macca conversations, info, some nice people getting together - but I found it to be one of the weirdest experiences I ever had! 

Daily assaults on my opinions, participations, suggestions - then - when the FOX crossed the road and it got political - swarms of creeps would unload all sorts of hate talk upon me.  Mike would ignore it all - because they were taking his extreme right wing positions. 

Then there were the jokesters, the porn advertisers, the macca lickers and worshippers, the manic-tongued "hipsters" from all corners of the globe, the grammer freaks, the John lovers, the John haters, the Ringo is the Beatles people, the George is God folks, the eleanor rigby's waiting for Paul to give them a free concert ticket, the lectures on American politics from  a Canadian website owner (not you 2/3 ) the Linda lovers/bashers and of course the Yoko is the devil folks and the heather mills stake burners.  The snobby big city guys, the country "I just found the beatles" boobs, the FREAKIN ANALOMY OF HAVING PAUL "MR PEACE_VEGGIE_PROGRESSIVE FREAKIN MCCARTNEY'S WEBSITE RUN BY A RIGHT WING KNOW NOTHING BILL O'REILLY PARROT!

(Feel free and cut/paste this over there, they need some action, it's been real slow, and while I am at it, one guy, who even used visit here, begs me for a  Beach Boys CD, I send it, he does not thank me or acknowledge receiving it - ever.  One guy, whose bio I looked up on the site was a radio producer for a right-wing radio talker!

Well PW, you described to a T what happened over there  when certain topics came up...some people just liked to stir up poop. Now, that is why Mike put a stop on those kinds of discussions...I dont have  problem with that. I am just a little P.O'd that Merv takes a bullet and nobody seems to give a crap.

So, I comment on what i can: Paul, movies, actors, my dog....you know: the stuff i know :D

Well Mervap has been scape-goated, but that's how right-wingers do it. 

I KNOW a "bird" who joined here, then reported back to mike on how the site was progressing, my only question is:  Was she sent here by mike - or did she do it on her own?

OK, enough for me on macca c, I do wonder where all the great contributers we had here went.  I realize not everybody is into multiple contributions per week, but a hello/comment 1x every week or two would be nice.

Oh my goodness, have you seen that video of Sarah Palin, pardoning a turkey and in the back ground of the interview a guy is slaughtering turkeys? I'm sure she wasnt there by herself, so what are her support staff thinking..I mean, they must have known what was happening. And on top of that...why did MSNBC film it that way to make her look stupid.
