I liked The Dark Knight......a bit over hyped I'd say....it was good...best movie? Not that I could see.

Gran Torino is getting all these rave reviews.....I've seen it...thought it was really entertaining. Oscars? I don't get that part.

I don't watch a lot of movies....I'd say my fav last year was Ghost Town.

Maybe Lampie should be our resident movie reviewer.....she sees EVERYTHING. :)

None of what I saw in 08 comes close to what I saw tonight - "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" - Fabulous - an instant classic.

I agree with 2/3, Lampie keep up your movie reviews and alerts, sounds like you go to the big pop-corn stores (movies) more than we. laughing laughing

I wouldn't mind doing that of course...but you guys will be hearing about the dudes in the movies probably more than you want...haha...

The next one I am looking forward to is: Defiance

It's got Daniel Craig and is about 4 brothers that escape to the woods during the holocaust in Germany (based on a true story). The word leaks to the ghettos that this renegade community exists and many flee to the woods to live with the group. They lived there for a least three winters and many survived as a result. It comes out the 16th and I will be there! So i will let you know...
