Excellent acting, production,, but subject is grim, sobering (1950's marriage inhabited by creative - but trapped people; i.e. DeCaprio-Winslett)  Will be riveting/disturbing for those in need of the message, but mostly redundant at this point in history.
Making it less realistic and using the freedom of movies would have made it potentially great - send them to Paris! (Just as they planned!)

A fabulous movie, with an  incredible soundtrack, depicting a vastly more interesting decade (The 60's) with some similar themes is the fabulous: " A Walk On the Moon"  It's got Woodstock, The U S Moon-walk,
Diane Lane and two of Lampie's boy-friends!  Directed by Dustin Hoffman.

Lamps, enjoy Rev-Row, let us know your view on it.

Clarification, "Walk On the Moon" is a DVD, having come out several years ago, soundtrack is out of sight!  Perfect to view, after Rev-Row, since the time period is a transition from the 50's of RR to the sixties, with similar themes explored.
