I have been dying to see this movie and i finally got to tonight and it totally did not disappoint...

I am positive that everyone has seen the trailers for this movie...It had a HUGE promotion budget. the previews were everywhere. But some movies that have a huge promotion budget have one cause otherwise no one will go see the movie. But with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett as the two headlining stars I am surprised they felt they had to try this hard. and after I saw the movie, they really didnt have to try this hard, the word of mouth alone (a la "Slumdog") would have gotten the folks running to the theater even if the promise of a (totally hot) 40 year old Brad Pitt didnt.

But I digress....since everyone saw the trailers, everyone knows the story is about a man who ages backwards. Basically born into old age, it is about his somewhat backwards life and how to go through puberty looking like a 60 year old and how to go through Alzheimer's when you look like you are 10. And then somewhere in the middle, Benjamin Button travels the world, falls in love and has children and learns life lessons and teaches us a few too.

4.5 out of 5...It's awesome...dont miss it...

Totally agree!  I did mention it in the Best Movie of 2008 Thread, called it an "instant classic!"

So many good moments, liked the romance when they danced to the Beatles, "Twist and Shout!"....

I want to see this soon. People have said it's a movie you will either love or hate. A lot of the cooing Brad Pitt fans hate it because they find the movie too long, too boring and he looks old at the beginning of it, haha.

But it is a subject that tickles my interest, and it's another one for my 'must rent' list. And I'm sure it's on blu ray too. :)
