...... and what is it - exactly?

Here's  a snap poll to determine what format, venue and/or touring Paul has planned in his future.

Please vote!  Please add comments!

A. Resume large scale tours of entire continents; i.e. Europe, North America, etc.

B. "One-off" large event/landmark concerts, on occassion; i.e. Quebec here, Roman Colleseum there, Isreal there,
Coachella over there, etc.

C. A series of concerts in one tourist-central concert venue, like Elton, Cher, Celine in Las Vegas (Was that a test of the waters at the Hard Rock last Sunday?)

D. Much smaller, acoustically fine concert halls featuring much more of his individual, Wings and under-played Beatle stuff, specifically performed to produce DVD's, CD's

E. Basically retire from performing full-length concerts, performing a song or two at an event or two a year or so.

What will Macca do next???

Concert for George. nuff said  kiss

and no..I not talking about him being dead....I want him to start playing with his equals...his contemporaries...do a tour with Costello....form his own Wiburys....grab guys like Marshall Crenshaw, Neil Finn....any other great songwriter....get er done!.....anything like that would be better than some sort of greatest hits show.

I'd second Two's astute comments.....I do think we are likely going to see just what we're seeing for the near future, though.

2/3 Interesting comments, with merit, would like to see this as a separate thread, will post it soon.

Given what Macca has done, who he is and what the "general " demand out there is, I agree with Mervap, so given the choices, I'd vote:

D.

This way some get to see him perform the under/non-played catalogue from his entire career AND we all get to listen and see on CD/DVD.

Well....sort of...we get to see people in the crowd singing alone.  wink Yeah I know....stop being such a goof 2!

I must say though.....that Macca live in Madrid bootleg is my fav....the camera never leaves the stage. I love it. beer

The guy is a Superman, I can't see him stopping any time soon. 'B' sounds similar to his current schedule, no major tours but plenty of one-off concerts to keep the fans excited. I loved it when he turned up at Neil Young's Hyde Park concert to sing A Day In The Life with him!

It was like Paul was there 'as a fan', cheering Neil and the band on!
