Magic Alex - what's he up to these days?

I've had an admiration for Magic Alex and his involvement with The Beatles. He apparently attempted to build a state-of-the-art 72-track mixing board for them, only it was built out of bits of wood and metal and .. er.. didn't work! But I like the idea that The Beatles hired this visionary guy, like a 'mad scientist' behind the scenes to create technological wonders for them. Whatever happened to him? Did he ever go on to work on something we take for granted these days?

Been just reading Wikipedia, and it says he works for a Greek company marketing bulletproof cars to royalty and VIPs. But still, not a lot of detail.. he sounds like an interesting character - he should write a book or something!
