Ok, I'm old. I saw this tour. It's still one of those moments you don't forget easily...and I had terrible seats! nerd But, even in the nosebleeds, McCartney's voice was so strong, it was like he was in the row behind you. Just amazing. Plus getting to hear Beatle songs live, didn't hurt any. greenbounce Letting Go, Maybe I'm Amazed, Call Me Back Again....the voice was magic. People looked at each other with the "can you believe that" look on their faces. It was that good. wave

Regrettably, I was a wee lad of 10 then, and not in the least bit interested in the Beatles....I was to discover the magic a short time later. idea

I was only a couple of years old, but hehe somehow I managed to acquire every Wings album before I was 5 (except Wings Over America and Wild Life)!! Crazy!! Have never seen Macca live, and probably the only famous band I've seen would be The Cure. BUT.. in November I will be seeing Muse live in concert, and I have excellent seats too! Hopefully that will be just as exciting as seeing Macca in '76.

I'm sure The Muse show will be exciting and entertaining, but to really appreciate what Macca means to people, you just gotta be there. You will hear songs you know and love performed at a very high caliber. You will see people dancing in ways human beings would never dance outside those walls. You will also see, and maybe experience, eyes sweat in a most unusual way, and for no other apparent reason than they are in the same building as the dude who wrote most of the songs that comprise the soundtrack of your life. It is, to this day, almost unexplainable. My eyes did not sweat at any other show, ever!  huh

You are not that old 2 of 3:police:

This album has somehow become a classic or what. To me it is such great collection of songs. The thing Paul did was to only take a few Beatle song and include them in his set list. And they weren´t the ones he "sold" his show on. Very clever done also the arrangement with the horn section was really great. Nowadays you wouldn´t do that or??

the start of the record is suberp: Venus and Mars/Rock Show, Jet and Let Me Roll It doesn´t get any better does it!!

Well as I said before it has become a sort of a classic live album!!!
