I have always felt torn when reaching for the McCartney 1 CD - thinking - "Well, maybe I should be listening to Ram."  Then, when I reached for Ram - yes, I'd think, maybe I should be listening to Mac 1.

But now - with music files - I mix both albums into alternating songs into a big mix - and no matter what order I get - it never fails!  These two albums mixed together is always magic.  They just FIT together in so many ways.  Try it!

Has anyone done this, or with other Macca albums?

I picked the best of "Tug of War" and combined them with the best of "Pipes of Peace"...I always thought they were very closely related, but "Tug" was way better overall.

My "Pipes of War" mix:

Tug of War
Take It Away
Average Person
Ballroom Dancing
The Pound Is Sinking
Keep Under Cover
So Bad
Get It
Hey, Hey
Somebody Who Cares
The Other Me
What's That You're Doing
Wanderlust

Cool idea.
And I love the "Tug of Peace" idea mervap because that way you can kick out those songs which never should have been on those albums.

I totaly see your point. Which makes it completly odd that the remaster Speciel Edition of Mc1 and Mc2 is coming out together but "Ram" is just ignored. What's that about??
