I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Jude Southerland Kessler at Beatles Fan Fest West recently and purchasing her 1st edition of her planned series of John Lennon Autobiographies, she plans a total of 5!  Her next edition is coming out in a year - and is due to cover up until the night of the Beatles first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show.

First edition covers  his life up until the boys meet Brian Epstein, I was able to get a copy from the author and it reads like a charm, a very beautifully, entertaining read - it's written in novel form - but is the most researched book on Lennon - ever - all from her personal research into records and personal interviews from the people who knew John.  Yes, all the characters you have read about  - and more - that were in John's life, spoke with her and helped tell the true story.

I keep thinking how much sense it makes to give a full presidential biographical effort to getting to know John Lennon, I have just started to read it, the author promises the true story is even more amazing than the semi-mythical accounts that have been repeated over and over - but not always on the mark.

You can read the reviews (and order) from Amazon.  It's titled: "Shoulda Been There".
