Big Brother is Watching

Tomorrow(Oct 26) a law comes into effect saying....you can NOT use your phone while driving anymore.


Well THANK GOD for that!! 


Now some will say that the Feds should not be telling us what to do in our own car. That may be so. But I see so many bonehead moves on the road while people are yakking away that ...you know....in this case...this a pretty good law.


Now...if they tell me I cant listen to THE Beatles while driving....that is completely different.

I know a guy who does a lot of talking while driving here...I asked him if he's still paying attention to his driving 100%. He said yeah, so I asked how the person on the other end of the phone feels about his not saying anything...he says he talks too. I said you can't pay 100% attention to driving and 100% attention to you phone call....that 200%. I didn't do well in Math, but.....:)

They have had that law out here for a few months.  It helped hands-free phone stuff sell.
 
I have not read, seen, or heard it enforced much at all.  I wish it was.

NOW - if I had a $1.00 for every violation, I have seen - I'm close to retiring rich!

I am a supreme multi-tasker. In fact, as I sit here, I am watching telelvision, eating, typing, and texting. and that's not the half...but, last night...I almost ran a red light looking up a number in my phone. And guess who got pulled over??

yeah...lesson learned...gonna scale it back.....

whew...that is WAY safer
