On PBS this week, as part of a big fund drive - they are showing the just finished re-mastered TAMI concert from 1964. It's re-digitalized and all performances from the original are put back in.
This was released in 1964 to movie theaters and was a one-off musical extravaganza, great performances from the Beach Boys, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Jan and Dean, Lesley Gore, Supremes, Smokey Robinson + the Miracles, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Rolling Stones , Chuck Berry and more!
